As the Cameroon opposition watched images and videos of President Paul BIYA receiving and exchanging with the USA AFRICOM Commander in Unity Palace last week, and as they watched Paul BIYA walking and giving instructions at the Yaounde Nsimalen International Airport before his departure for Europe yesterday, their only political agenda that is based on illusions like, “PAUL BIYA IS DEAD”, “PAUL BIYA IS NO LONGER RULING CAMEROON”, “IT IS THE SG/PRC WHO IS RULING CAMEROON”, and “THE FIRST LADY HAS TAKEN OVER POWER”, have been silenced. When a political scammer like ISSA CHIROMA BAKARY comes out and claims that President PAUL BIYA is not ruling, many gullible opposition leaders believe him and even rally to his candidacy. Many are now asking what other lie Issa CHIROMA will come up with now that everyone has seen he lied.
When AKERE MUNA a supposed British-trained international lawyer and anti-corruption crusader, went up to the constitutional council claiming that PAUL BIYA was no longer ruling, many believed him and followed his borrowed political party. Today, AKERE has gone into hiding as his law career and credibility have been seriously jeopardised. Who will ever believe this fils-a-papa again after such a judicial blunder? No wonder his classmates insist he was just a below-average student.
All Cameroonians remember PROF KAMTO’s Paris place de la republique declaration that “Cameroon was on auto-pilot with no president”. Today, this so-called legal pope who’s candidacy was rejected is trying to position himself as a “king-maker”. Many Cameroonians are now wondering if he has any sense of shame after deceiving millions.
As concerns individuals like BELLO BOUBA MAIGARI, he has refused to answer the question of why he stayed in government for so long if President PAUL BIYA was not the one ruling. He avoids this question because he knows Cameroonians have seen the President alive and giving instructions.
All the so-called intellectuals and Sunday-pseudo-political analysts who swore that President PAUL BIYA was no longer at the helm of the state, have been ridiculed. Many no longer take their calls and have even blocked their phones. They avoid the topic like their political sponsors.
Now that Cameroonians have seen their president many times presiding over the affairs of the state, now that Cameroonians have come to understand that their president is not a noise-maker and now that the opposition lies have been exposed, who will be surprised if President PAUL BIYA once again gets a landslide victory on the 12th of October 2025.
Who will be surprised if Cameroonians refuse to vote for politicians who have no agenda. Who will be surprised when voters turn their backs on politicians who have deceived them about the only person who is working daily for the country. Who will vote for candidates whose only hope for Cameroon is that President Paul Biya is not capable of ruling?
PAUL BIYA will win the election because Cameroonians know better.
