Cameroonians at home and abroad, foreign observers and lovers of Cameroon have come to the conclusion that this presidential mandate they just gave to President Paul BIYA will not be like the others. When news broke out yesterday that Mrs. NSENG ELANG CLAIRE DIEUDONNEE a female super scale first group judicial and legal officer had been appointed as the PROCUREUR GENERAL of Cameroon’s supreme court, the country went into ecstasy. This was president BIYA making-good on his inauguration speech where he said, this is the mandate for women and youths. For the first time, the highest court in the land had a woman at its head and everyone sees how this will help protect women’s rights, family rights, child protection and the rule of law in general.
This good news which has been saluted even by local and foreign media and described by diplomats in Yaoundé as a major achievement for women’s rights in Africa, came on the eve of the release of an ISSA TCHIROMA BAKARY video in which he was calling for a national ghost-town on Friday the 21st of November 2025. Many were surprised as he not been heard from since his 48 hours ultimatum expired many days ago.
After the sore-losers attempts to start an insurrection failed and his former calls for ghost towns were not adhered to, Cameroonians see this last attempt as the last kicks of a dying horse. Mr TCHIROMA like all the gullible youths he manipulated to attack private and public property have been vomited by the vast majority of Cameroonians who are already seeing the concrete realizations of President BIYA’s campaign promises.
The mining sector which was at the core of President BIYA’s campaign has already undergone a complete assessment and some 38,000 jobs will be created mainly for youths and women in this strategic sector. This came on the heels of some youths from all the ten regions seeing their business projects being financed by the state to create jobs for other youths. Even the relaunching of teacher’s recruitments which will mostly benefit youths and has been launched.
Less than one month into his new mandate, Cameroonians are already feeling a difference. This and many other reasons explain why no one follows or listens to ISSA TCHIROMA BAKARY and the haters of Cameroon. While he is calling for destruction, President PAUL BIYA is busy building a new, strong, united and prosperous Cameroon. While ISSA TCHIROMA and his foreign masters are calling for Cameroonians to stay home and paralyze their economy, President BIYA is concretely working to facilitate transport, trade, exchange and commerce not only between Cameroonians but between Cameroon and NIGERIA, CHAD, RCA and CONGO. While ISSA TCHIROMA is encouraging youths to destroy, President BIYA is giving the law-and-order officers all they need to protect lives and property. Road barriers and toll-gates are being suppressed, tax incentives are being implemented on strategic companies and goods and more markets are receiving special state facilitations to open.
All the pre-election arguments of ISSA TCHIROMA and his foreign sponsors have been debunked. Their political manifesto and agenda was based on fallacies like, President BIYA is no longer ruling Cameroon, President BIYA is dead, The First Lady is “ruling” Cameroon, we have not seen the president for years, the secretary general of the presidency is the “ruler” of Cameroon and other bullshit. Events and happenings have exposed them for the liars they are. They have no vision for Cameroon and are not patriots.
Today a supposed Issa-Tchiroma-Ghost-town-day is bustling with activities from the markets of Douala, Yaounde, through the beaches of Kribi, Limbe and the selling places of Bafoussam, Bamenda, the cattle markets of Garoua, Bertoua and Maroua, the frontier markets of Idenau, Ekok, Ambam, Garoua Boulai just to name a few. The long line of lorries transporting goods from Douala to neighboring countries and the busy international airports of Douala, Garoua and Maroua are all testimony to the fact that there is no Ghost town or village in Cameroon.
In the days ahead, Cameroonians have made it clear they will accompany their president in this new mandate which announces to be even more exciting for women and youths. Many have said they really hope this is the last time they will hear from Issa Tchiroma and his manipulators. Some are even saying his last ultimatum was taken as a personal provocation and considered as an attention seeking action from a sinking ship.
Once again one can only say a big bravo to Cameroonians and their illustrious head of state-PAUL BIYA- as they begin this new seven year journey of hope, grandeur, prosperity and emergence. …
