Cameroon Fact Thirteen: Paul Biya, The Way Forward For Cameroon.

News from Cameroon has lately focused on the upcoming presidential election and the different maneuvers from supposed opposition “leaders” working to change a regime that they were all part of. Some up to last month, were part of the regime.

As time passes and as these opposition gurus discover their new democratic virginity after serving under President Paul Biya for decades, Cameroonians see their political migration for what it is-a scam. Cameroonians refuse to follow them.

Even the Cameroonians who thought they will see responsible opposition political offers this 2025, are now saying that Paul Biya is the way forward for the country despite his many years in power and age.

How can a government spokesman for decades, today declare that he did not believe in what he was saying? So he wants to become president and apply what he has not said (ISSA TCHIROMA).

How can President Paul Biya’s first Prime Minister and decades long minister of state (senior minister) today say that he does not see a future for Cameroon under the leadership of Paul Biya, even when he was leading the government and is still a member of the government (BELLO BOUBA MAIGARI).

How can a former minister of justice today say that there is no justice in Cameroon when he actually wrote most of the laws been applied in the country and claim to have won an election in 2018 that was organized under the same laws (MAURICE KAMTO).

Cameroonians have seen through this charade, and they are determined to quietly continue to their march forward with President Paul Biya.

Even condemned criminals in prison who embezzled millions in usa dollars today see hope to become president (MARAFA). We even see clueless opposition leaders calling for a tribal federation to be implemented in Cameroon, a country with over 200 tribes (CABRAL LIBIH).

And today in Cameroon, we see an “opposition leader” who claims to combat a “corrupt system” totally ignoring the fact that his father served under Paul Biya and created the system for decades as speaker of national assembly sending him with government funds to the best schools (even when he was just an average student to say the least) and leaving him hundreds of houses and lands as inheritance (AKERE MUNA). How can the product of corruption combat corruption and bring new leadership.

Paul Biya’s re-election against such opposition leaders and charlatans is certain because Cameroonians are not fools. They know these people are looking after themselves and their families and generally have no political agenda for the country.
