As president, Paul Biya is saying, “the ills which plague some countries in the grip of civil war and anarchy must lead us to reflect and appreciate the true value of stability that our country enjoys” Egotistic politicians and their diaspora relays are over social and classical media calling for violence in Cameroon. Cameroonians are watching in shock as people who want to rule them are advocating for a total destruction of the country.
The questions observers are now asking are, how can people expect to lead when they preach violence? Why has Cameroon remained peaceful despite all the calls for violent regime change? Why have Cameroonians refused to follow those asking them to start violence? Who are these politicians who think the only way to get power is by violence?
The answers to these questions are now obvious to all. President Paul Biya and his peaceful nature are the only constants in the Cameroonian political domain for the past four decades. He has been the bedrock of peace and his compatriots have rested their country on that. The only compass that has been guiding President Paul Biya is “peace” and Cameroonians have placed their confidence on him. One can say Cameroonians have been blindly following President Paul Biya to peace-land for the past 43 years and they will continue to follow him beyond 2025, because he has proven that he knows the road.
The recent attempts by some political adventurers and populists with no vision or love for cameoon to incite the masses to revolt have all repeatedly failed lamentably. predictions that the streets of cameroon will be flowing with blood also failed and their authors are looking for new schemes.
Even as the political extremists and their diaspora scoundrels have tried to derail the ongoing electoral process for the October 2025 presidential election, cameroonians have remained peaceful, listening to their president and waiting for the election day. What a mature people!
The most recent ploy against the peace of Cameroon is centered around the constitutional council which they are trying to destabilize. Instead of allowing the council to say the law, they think they can use external pressure to stop that. Their ardent calls for cameroonians to come out massively and stop the constitutional council have fallen on deaf ears.
No one came out and no one will come out. Cameroonians know and strongly believe that their future lies with peace not violence. They know that with Paul Biya, their peace is guaranteed. They also know that those asking them to start a civil unrest are not patriotic.
After the October 12th 2025, presidential election, there will be a Cameroon and it will be peaceful because cameroonians have rejected the angels of doom who want a minimum of 50 deaths for them to grab power.
Cameroonians will not spill blood as demanded and the country will only emerge stronger.
